The project covers an area of 95.2 mu and is constructed in two phases. The project is located in Wujiang Yundong Environmental Protection Industrial Park. The phasing one uses a single incineration line to treat 30,000 tons/year of industrial hazardous waste and the phasing two increases the physical chemical and drying treatment capacity.
Wujiang Taihu industrial waste comprehensive treatment project is the first industrial hazardous waste incineration unit in China to install a continuous sampling system for dioxin. It strengthens its daily operation supervision while controls the total annual emission of dioxin at the same time, representing the highest level of self-regulation of domestic dioxin emission control.
This project is also the first project in China to use pure condensing turbine generators to generate electricity and connect to the network. The installed capacity of the supporting turbine is 2.3MW.
The IEA emission standards of this project strictly implement the 2010/75/EC limits, far exceeding the current domestic implementation of GB18484-2001 Chinese limits.
